Maria Vanadia Fantozzi received her Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry from the College of the Holy Cross. During her undergraduate years, she gained clinical experience as an EMT and Chief Research Assistant at UMass Memorial Medical Center.

Maria later joined South Coast Dermatology and spent over two years as a certified dermatology medical assistant. Her hands-on experience with Mohs surgeries inspired her to advance her medical career. Maria earned her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at Bryant University, where she was a visiting student at the LBJ Tropical Medical Center in American Samoa.

To further her expertise, she completed a diplomate fellowship through the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants. Returning to South Coast Dermatology as a provider has been a full-circle moment for Maria, who is thrilled to care for patients on the South Shore again.

Outside of work, she enjoys traveling and spending quality time with family.
